Origin and Destination Survey

As a beneficiary of federal funding, LYNX is required by the Federal Transit Administration (FTA) to conduct an origin-destination (OD) survey every five years. Beyond meeting federal obligations, the LYNX OD survey serves as a crucial strategic planning tool, offering valuable insights into the demographics and travel patterns of its passengers. The survey findings enable LYNX to identify passenger trends, secure funding and monitor the progress of both new and existing services.
