LYNX to Hold Information Sessions for December 2026 Service Proposal

The Central Florida Regional Transportation Authority (LYNX) has proposed system-wide changes effective Dec. 13.

The LYNX Board of Directors will vote on the service proposal at the 1 p.m. Oct. 22 meeting in the LYNX Central Station 2nd Floor Board Room.

The December proposal will include the following:

• Discontinuing Link 701.
• Discontinuing trips on Links 1, 10, 56, 102 and 426.
• Major routing changes on Links 6 and 407.
• Routing changes on Links 43 and 311.
• Schedule adjustments on Links 13, 18, 20, 23, 26, 36, 42, 51, 57 and 107.
• Frequency changes Link 48 and 49.

DISCONTINUED ROUTE

• Link 701 – Orange Technical College Shuttle (Orange County) – Discontinuing service. Customers may ride NeighborLinks 811 and 812 as a replacement.

DISCONTINUED TRIPS

• Link 1 – Winter Park/Eatonville/Maitland (Orange County) – Discontinuing weekday 8:20 and 9:10 p.m. trips from Winter Park SunRail. Discontinuing all Saturday service. Schedule adjustments.
• Link 10 – East U.S. 192/St. Cloud (Osceola County) – Discontinuing weekday 4:05 a.m., 8:30 p.m., Saturday 4:10 a.m. and Sunday 10 p.m. trips from LYNX Kissimmee Intermodal Station to U.S. 192/Live Oak.
• Link 56 – West U.S. 192/ Magic Kingdom (Orange/Osceola County) – Discontinuing weekday 4:14 and 4:43 a.m. trips from Plaza del Sol to LYNX Kissimmee Intermodal Station.
• Link 102 – Orange Avenue/South U.S. 17-92 (Orange County) – Daily schedule adjustments. Changing Sunday service after 6:45 p.m. to operate every 60 minutes. Changing Sunday 9:15 p.m. trip departing LYNX Central Station to 9:45 p.m.

• Link 426 – Poinciana Circulator (Osceola County) – Discontinuing weekday 5:30 a.m. and 7:30 p.m. trips from Poinciana Walmart. Schedule adjustments.

MAJOR ROUTE CHANGES

• Link 6 – Dixie Belle Drive/Bumby Avenue (Orange County) – Discontinuing service between Colonial Plaza SuperStop and Lakemont Avenue/Aloma Avenue. Schedule adjustments.
• Link 407 – Kissimmee/Orlando International Airport/Medical City (Orange/Osceola County) – Reducing daily service to Lake Nona. Changing route to Landstar Boulevard, Meadow Woods SunRail, Wetherbee Road and discontinuing service on SR 417. Route will make all local stops between Kissimmee Intermodal and Orlando International Airport. Schedule adjustments.

ROUTE CHANGES

• Link 43 – Winter Park/Lee Road/Pine Hills (Orange County) – Weekday routing will follow weekend routing at Lakemont Avenue/Aloma Road.
• Link 311 – Disney/Orlando Int'l Airport/Universal Epic Universe (Orange County) – Discontinuing service on Tradeshow Boulevard and using Universal Boulevard on eastbound trips towards Orlando International Airport. Weekday schedule adjustments.

• Link 13 – University Blvd./Winter Park (Orange County) – Weekday schedule adjustments.
• Link 18 – S. Orange Avenue/Kissimmee (Orange/Osceola County) – Daily schedule adjustments.
• Link 20 – Malibu Street/Pine Hills/Washington Shores (Orange County) – Saturday schedule adjustments.
• Link 23 – Winter Park/Rosemont/Altamonte Springs (Orange/Seminole County) – Daily schedule adjustments.
• Link 26 – Pleasant Hill Road/ Poinciana (Osceola County) – Daily schedule adjustments.
• Link 36 – Lake Richmond (Orange County) – Daily schedule adjustments.
• Link 42 – International Drive/Oak Ridge Road/Orlando Int’l Airport (Orange County) – Daily schedule adjustments.
• Link 51 – Conway Road (Orange County) – Daily schedule adjustments.

FREQUENCY CHANGES

• Link 48 – W. Colonial Drive/Powers Drive (Orange County) – Increasing Saturday service to every 30 minutes until 7:45 p.m. Schedule adjustments.
• Link 49 – W. Colonial Drive/Pine Hills Road/ Rosemont (Orange County) – Increasing Saturday service to every 30 minutes until 7:30 p.m. Adding Saturday and Sunday 12:15 a.m. trip from LYNX Central Station to Rosemont SuperStop. Schedule adjustments.
