Human Services Transportation Plan Stakeholder Workshop

Event Date(s)

November 6, 2024
10:00 am - 11:00 am

We are excited to announce that we are preparing an update to the Human Services Transportation Plan (HSTP). Agencies have been identified as key stakeholders in this planning process.

Each agency representative will attend up to two workshops over the next three months and, if necessary, participate in a one-on-one discussion with our consultant team. The workshops will feature a brief presentation from the Project Team, followed by Q & A sessions, and small working groups.

The HSTP serves as the locally developed, coordinated transportation plan that identifies the transportation needs of individuals with disabilities, seniors, and people with lower incomes. The final plan will provide strategies to address the identified needs. We will provide a more detailed introduction to the project during our first meeting. For reference, the most recent completed HSTP can be found at the following link:

We will be hosting our first meeting in person, and it is scheduled for Wednesday, November 6 at 10:00 AM at LYNX Central Station (455 N. Garland Ave., Orlando, FL 32801). If you have any questions or would like more details about the project’s background, its purpose, and expectations prior to the first meeting, please feel free to reach out to us or to our consultant team.

Thank you and we look forward to working with each of you.

Thank you,

Cody Johnson, AICP                                                                 Brenda I Garces
