U.S. 192 AA Open Houses

The second set of open houses for the U.S. 192 Alternative Analysis (AA) has been scheduled for Oct. 2 in Osceola County.
During the two meetings Osceola County and the Central Florida Regional Transportation Authority (LYNX) will present an update on the study designed to improve transportation along the county’s economic spine.
The project team will be discussing a list of alternative transit technologies, alignments and service types for the area and soliciting public input. These casual meetings are intended for those interested to simply stop by and initiate conversation.

Ultimately, the U.S. 192 AA will collaboratively define and endorse the transit solution that will play a significant role in the Osceola and Kissimmee corridors’ evolution towards becoming a premier Central Florida corridor. MetroPlan Orlando, the Florida Department of Transportation, the city of Kissimmee, city of St. Cloud, and the Lake-Sumter Metropolitan Planning Organization are also key stakeholders.
