25 Year Volunteer Employee Has Perfect Driving and Attendance Record

Kris Kringle will once again return to his home away from home and drive a bus for the Central Florida Regional Transportation Authority (LYNX).

His sleigh has been upgraded with the latest safety features to make sure the 2022 holiday season is the safest yet for everyone who rides.

When he starts driving on Nov. 28 not only will he continue his perfect attendance but, his flawless driving record as well.  The model employee will head home for the holiday on Dec. 24.  Customers lucky enough to find the tropically dressed Santa driving their route will ride that Link for free.  The bus will be in service Monday-Saturday and routes will change daily.

This year he is asking the community to play a fun “Go-Flamin-go” game with him in a “Where’s Winter Experience.” Dec. 5-16, 100 pink flamingo stickers will be spread throughout the region with a special holiday message. When customers find the flamingo, they must bring it to the LYNX Customer Service Window at LYNX Central Station and exchange it for an All-Day pass. Those customers will then be entered to win a 30-Day pass. All flamingos must be turned in by Dec. 16 with winners being announced on Dec. 19.

Also on Dec. 16, Santa will stop by the LYNX Central Station to take photos with riders and hand out special prizes. For more information on this holiday campaign, community members can follow LYNX at:
