22nd Public Service Bus Contest Winners Announced

Organizations that support health, economic empowerment and the arts in Orange, Seminole and Osceola counties will be among the eight non-profit agencies featured on the LYNX 2025-26 Public Service Bus.

Osceola County and LYNX Chair Viviana Janer and LYNX Chief Executive Officer Tiffany Homler Hawkins will unveil the bus 10 a.m. May 28.  The event will be held in front of the Osceola County Administration Building located at 1 Courthouse Square, Kissimmee, FL, 34741.

Each organization will receive free exposure by having their logos placed on a 40-foot LYNX bus traveling across Orange, Osceola and Seminole counties for the next 12 months. Each winner was selected in a random drawing of qualified applicants with 501(c)(3) status and operate on budgets of less than $1.5 million annually.

LYNX 2025-26 Public Service Bus Contest Winners: 

The Alzheimer’s & Dementia Resource Center (Winter Park) provides support and guidance for caregivers and families facing the realities of dementia. Through personalized coaching, peer-led groups and access to local resources, ADRC helps caregivers navigate the emotional and practical challenges of dementia care.

The Chamber Foundation (Kissimmee) unites leaders, partners and resources to strengthen the business and civic landscape of Osceola County. They conduct a leadership training program, a local healthcare industry council and workforce development initiatives to help connect people to opportunities and position Osceola County for long-term success.

Cornerstone Connections (Ocoee) supports individuals and families on their journey to financial independence through educational advancement and community-based support. They connect clients to vital resources such as job readiness training, case management and parenting programs.

E.S.T.H.E.R. Single Mothers Outreach (Longwood) uplifts single mother families in Central Florida by providing essentials like clothing, food and household items, along with practical life skill workshops.

Florida Symphony Youth Orchestras (Orlando) is a supplemental music education organization that nurtures young musicians through a dynamic range of orchestras, jazz bands, and educational programs. FSYO provides performance opportunities, mentorship and musical growth for over 300 students annually.

Honorable Legacy (Orlando) offers bereavement support, death preparedness education and grief counseling. From beautifying neglected burial sites, providing funeral-appropriate clothing and supporting Gold Star families, they offer compassionate, practical help to ensure every life is honored and no one faces loss alone.

Kairos Adventures (Sanford) champions adults with disabilities by facilitating arts classes, community outings and a community choir, both in-person and online. Programs run year-round and are designed to foster creativity, connection and purpose.

Wedding Wish by Candyland Designs (Kissimmee) grants dream weddings and offers free mental health support for couples facing financial or health challenges. Through fundraising and partnerships, they provide wedding experiences, wellness workshops and counseling services.
