Santa Returns to Drive Annual Holiday Cheer

Kris Kringle will once again return to his home away from home and drive a bus for the Central Florida Regional Transportation Authority (LYNX).

His sleigh has been upgraded with all of the latest safety features to make sure the 2021 holiday season is the safest yet for everyone who rides. The bus will be on the road starting Dec. 1 until he heads home for the holidays on Dec. 24.  Customers lucky enough to find Santa driving their route will ride that Link for free.  The bus will be in service Monday-Saturday and routes will change daily.

Following the annual holiday bus initiative, from Dec. 13-17, LYNX will be hosting a “Holidays Around the World” trivia contest on the agency’s Facebook page. The public is encouraged to join in on the fun as the agency will be giving away 30-Day bus passes and other prizes.

While Santa will not be making his grand appearance for a photo opportunity this year, Lennox, the agency’s mascot will be at the LCS terminal on Dec 16. taking photos with riders and handing out giveaways. For more information on this holiday campaign, community members can follow LYNX at:
