LYNX to Hold Public Workshop and Hearing for KnightLYNX 211 Elimination

LYNX has been asked by the University of Central Florida (UCF) Student Government Association (SGA) to eliminate KnightLYNX 211 Green effective Jan. 13, 2017.
The LYNX Board of Directors (BOD) will be notified of the proposal at their 1 p.m. Nov. 10 meeting in the LYNX Central Station 2nd Floor Board Room.
LYNX will host a public workshop and hearing to eliminate KnightLYNX 211 on Nov 15. The public comment period will begin Nov. 6. Comments also will be accepted at the public workshop and hearing.
The SGA funds KnightLYNX routes in a partnership with LYNX. These routes are a free weekend service for any UCF student with a campus ID. Knight 210 Blue will remain offering UCF students transportation around campus and the surrounding area along Alafaya Trail. KnightLYNX 212 Red will continue to serve downtown Orlando.
