Polk County Transit to Adjust Contracted Service
Links 416 and 427 Hours Decreasing
Polk County Transit Services has asked the Central Florida Regional Transportation Authority (LYNX) to adjust service levels on the routes they fund effective Oct. 1.
Link 416 and 427 Saturday service will be eliminated. Additionally, Link 427 will operate every two hours on weekdays from 6:25 a.m. to 7:13 p.m.
Since December 2012 both of these contracted routes have provided connecting service from the Haines City area.
LYNX will host a public hearing and workshop to discuss the changes.

Oct. 1 Service Changes
ADJUSTED SERVICE:
- Link 416 – Poinciana/Haines City (Polk County/Osceola County) – Saturday service will be eliminated.
- Link 427 – U.S. 27/Haines City (Polk County/Lake County) – Weekday service will operate every two hours. The bus will depart from U.S. 17-92 and Hinson Avenue at 6:25, 8:25, 10:25 am; 12:25, 2:25, 4:25 and 6:25 pm. The bus will depart Legacy Boulevard at 7:25, 9:25, 11:25 a.m.; 1:25, 3:25 and 5:25 p.m. Saturday service will be eliminated.
