SWAN Shuttle
SWAN Shuttle (Shuttling with Autonomous Navigation) a City of Orlando pilot program, powered by Beep, is a safe and reliable public transportation option at Creative Village.
This autonomous shuttle service will allow passengers to experience autonomous vehicle technologies on a portion of the existing LYMMO Orange Line service by deploying, operating, and managing two (2) autonomous vehicles within Creative Village.
The pilot will involve six (6) months of fare-free service using two (2) autonomous shuttles.
LYNX and the City of Orlando are estimating that the pilot will begin service on August 20. The autonomous vehicles will operate during off-peak hours utilizing the existing LYMMO lanes for the Orange Line on West Amelia Street, Terry Avenue, West Livingston Street, and North Garland Avenue. LYNX operated LYMMO buses will provide service during peak hours and when the autonomous vehicles are out of service.
Hours of Operation
- Monday – Friday: 10 a.m.-2:00 p.m. and 6:30 p.m.-10:30 p.m.
- Saturday – Sunday: 10 a.m.-2:00 p.m. and 6:30 p.m.-10:30 p.m.
- The SWAN Shuttle will not operate on LYNX observed holidays.
SWAN Shuttle
- Every 8 minutes during office hours, 15 minutes evenings and weekends. No service on LYNX observed holidays.
- Serving Creative Village, Valencia/UCF Downtown Campus, OCPS, Orange Technical College, EA Orlando, Union West, Luminary Green, Bob Carr Theater and LYNX Central Station.
