SR 436 Transit Oriented Development (TOD) Planning Study

The Central Florida Regional Transportation Authority (LYNX) and the city of Orlando will be hosting three public workshops to discuss visioning for development that supports transit around nine proposed Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) station areas along SR 436/Semoran Boulevard.

This visioning process is the next step to the 2019 Transit Study that recommended a BRT system (similar to current downtown LYMMO service) connecting Orlando International Airport to the Altamonte SunRail station. This service will provide more frequent and premium bus services on semi-exclusive lanes along SR 436.
