The Central Florida Regional Transportation Authority (LYNX) will be adding new service to Maitland along with the previously announced Dec. 14 service changes.
Starting Dec. 15 the NeighborLink (NL) 652/Maitland Center will be a Monday-Friday flex-service aimed to make it easier for Maitland Center employees to connect to SunRail.
Service will depart the Maitland SunRail Station heading to Maitland Center at 6:05, 7:05 and 8:05 a.m.; and will drop passengers off at the SunRail station at 5:15, 6:15 and 7 p.m.
Passengers must call 407-244-0808 at least two hours before their travel to schedule a pickup time. LYNX does offer subscription service to customers regularly traveling to the same place at the same time/day each week.
The NL 652 will be funded for one year of operation by the Florida Department of Transportation and Orange County and is considered a pilot program.
All maps for the Dec. 14 updates have been posted at www.golynx.com.
The next service efficiencies are scheduled to take place April 19, 2015.
