Vision 2030

VISION 2030 is a long range strategic planning process designed to identify how public transportation can develop for the next 20 years to meet the community's needs. The study focuses on 22 corridors intended to grow into high capacity service corridors with premium transit services such as bus rapid transit, express bus, light rail and/or street car services.

The project team finalized the project methodology and completed the initial screening of each corridor for potential future improvements. The team is currently reviewing the preliminary master plan alternatives with various stakeholders, including the MPO (MetroPlan Orlando), FDOT, local stakeholders and representatives from the three counties in the study area. After public review and comment these alternatives will then be further refined to create the final VISION 2030 document. VISION 2030 will represent LYNX's transit vision for the future.
