NeighborLink 604 Service for Intercession City and Campbell City
Osceola County and the Central Florida Regional Transportation Authority (LYNX) have finalized plans to add transit services in
Intercession City, Campbell City, Good Samaritan Village, The Oaks and southwest Kissimmee. The new NeighborLink (NL)
604 service will begin Oct. 22 and operate
6-10 a.m. and 3-7 p.m. Monday-Friday.
Passengers must call 407-244-0808 at least two hours before they want to travel and schedule a pickup time. A LYNX vehicle will pick them up and provide transportation anywhere within the designated service area or to Link 26 at Orange Blossom Trail and Pleasant Hill Road.
All trips on NL 604 will be free until Nov. 19. This also will include a free outbound only transfer on the Link 26. Starting on Nov. 20 all passengers will have to pay the standard $2 fare each way with one free transfer.
Osceola County Commissioner Michael Harford, who championed the service, along with LYNX General Manager Edward Johnson will host a public NL 604 unveiling at noon Oct. 22 in front of the Intercession City Civic Center (1531 Immokalee Road, Intercession City, Fla. 33848).
