LYNX Announces April Service Changes

The Central Florida Regional Transportation Authority (LYNX) will be making system-wide efficiencies effective April 21..

The major change will be to NeighborLink (NL) 621 in Bithlo. The route will become a combination local route/NL service. Along Colonial Drive/SR 50 from Alafaya Trail to the new Bithlo Health Center the bus will make multiple local service stops. Between the health center and the Wedgefield neighborhood service will operate as the NeighborLink. Passengers must call 407-244-0808 at least two hours before their requested travel time to make a reservation.

Other efficiencies will include Links 8, 17, 20, 23, 34, 41, 42, 57, 416, 426 and 443.

Customers may visit www.golynx.com to view maps and plan trips through Google Maps or call 407-841-LYNX (5969) to speak with a customer service representative for assistance.

The next service efficiencies will take place Aug. 11.

April 21 Service Changes

ADJUSTED SERVICE:

  • Link 8 - West Oak Ridge Road/International Drive (Orange County) - Timepoint No. 6 at Wet 'n Wild will be removed. The stop will remain.
  • Link 17 - N. US 441/Apopka (Orange County) - Last three evening trips to LCS will arrive at :35 after each hour.
  • Link 20 - Malibu Street/Mercy Drive (Orange County) - Route name has been changed from Malibu Street/Pine Hills to Malibu Street/Mercy Drive.
  • Link 23 - Winter Park/Spring Village (Orange County) - Timepoint No. 2 at Orlando Avenue and Fairbanks Avenue will be removed. The stop will remain.
  • Link 34 - Sanford/Goldsboro (Seminole County) - No Saturday service to the closed Seminole County Health Department.
  • Link 41 - SR 436 Crosstown (Orange County/Seminole County) - Northbound buses will now layover at Orlando International Airport instead of Dixie Bell Drive and Gatlin Avenue. Slight schedule adjustment.
  • Link 42 - International Drive/Orlando International Airport (Orange County) - Timepoint No. 6 at Wet 'n Wild will be removed. The stop will remain.
  • Link 57 - John Young Parkway (Orange County/Osceola County) - Time adjustments.
  • Link 416 - Poinciana/Haines City (Polk County/Osceola County) - Will serve new Poinciana Medical Center on Cypress Parkway and Solivita Boulevard.
  • Link 426 - Poinciana Circulator (Polk County/Osceola County) - Timepoint No. 3 will be moved to serve new Poinciana Medical Center on Cypress Parkway. Timepoint No. 4 will move to Amiens Way and Chestnut Street.
  • Link 443 - Winter Park/Pine Hills (Orange County) - Timepoint No. 3 at Lee Road and Adanson Street will be removed. The stop will remain.
  • NeighborLink 621 - Bithlo (Orange County) - Will operate on a local bus schedule only between Alafaya Trail and the Bithlo Health Center on Colonial Drive/SR 50. Then the bus will operate as the NeighborLink call-ahead service in the Bithlo and Wedgefield neighborhoods.
