LYNX Board Adopts Jan. 7, 2018, Service Changes

LYNX board of directors has approved making system-wide efficiencies effective Jan. 7, 2018.

Schedule efficiencies will happen on Links 3, 8, 21, 26, 28, 29, 34, 36, 44, 50, 57, 63, 111, 443 and FastLink 441.

A trip addition will be added on Link 37.

Link 405 will have a routing change on Dec. 7. A route change will happen on Link 36 in January.

New bus stops will be added to KnightLYNX 212

New maps and schedules are available on golynx.com.

The next service change will be April 22, 2018.

January 2018 Service Changes

SCHEDULE ADJUSTMENTS

• Link 3 – Lake Margaret (Orange County) – Minor schedule adjustments.
• Link 8 – W. Oak Road/International Drive (Orange County) – Minor schedule adjustments.
• Link 21 – Universal Studios (Orange County) – Weekday 4:55 a.m. trip from Sand Lake Commons to begin at Universal Orlando. Southbound route will no longer operate through Universal Orlando Employment Center.
• Link 26 – Pleasant Hill Road/Poinciana (Osceola County) – Minor schedule adjustments.
• Link 28 – E. Colonial Drive/Azalea Park (Orange County) – Minor schedule adjustments.
• Link 29 – E. Colonial Drive/Goldenrod (Orange County) – Minor schedule adjustments.
• Link 34 – Sanford (Seminole County) – Weekday 9:10 p.m. trip from Seminole Center changed to 9:15 p.m.
• Link 44 – Hiawassee Road/Zellwood (Orange County) – Weekday and Saturday 5:01 a.m. trip from Harry Street/Janet Avenue changed to 5:07 a.m.
• Link 50 – Downtown Orlando/Magic Kingdom (Orange County) – Daily 5:30 a.m. and weekday 6:05 a.m. trips from Transportation and Ticket Center will begin at Disney Springs Transfer Center. Minor schedule adjustments.
• Link 57 – John Young Parkway (Orange County) – Minor schedule adjustments.
• Link 63 – LYMMO Orange/North Quarter Line (Orange County) – Route will run every 20 minutes instead of every 15 minutes.
• Link 111 – SeaWorld/Orlando International Airport (Orange County) – Minor schedule adjustments.
• FastLink 441 – Kissimmee/Downtown Orlando (Orange County/Osceola County) – Minor schedule adjustments.
• Link 443 – Winter Park/Pine Hills (Orange County) – Minor schedule adjustments.

TRIP ADDITION

• Link 37 – Pine Hills/Florida Mall (Orange County) – Adding Saturday 10 p.m. trip from Florida Mall.

ROUTE CHANGES

• Link 36 – Lake Richmond (Orange County) – Change routing to Hughey Avenue, Washington Street and Division Street. 
• Link 405 – Apopka Circulator (Orange County) – From Apopka SuperStop, route will extend to the new Florida Hospital Apopka via Central Avenue, 13th Street, Park Avenue, Cleveland Street, Central Avenue, 13th Street, Ocoee Apopka Road, Hawthorne Avenue, 10th Street and Central Avenue. Minor schedule changes. This will take effect on Dec. 7, 2017.

BUS STOP CHANGES

• Link 212 – UCF KnightLYNX Red (Orange County) – New bus stops will be added at South Street/Mills Avenue and Anderson Street/Mills Avenue.
