In accordance with requirements of the U.S. Department of Transportation as set forth in 49 C.F.R. Part 26, as amended, LYNX in Orlando, Florida, hereby notifies the public of the proposed Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) goal for applicable professional services, construction and procurement contracts for a three-year period for federal fiscal year 2014 (FFY14) to federal fiscal year 2016 (FFY16). The overall proposed DBE goal is 17%. LYNX proposes to achieve its overall DBE goal by using race neutral and race conscious measures. LYNX will achieve 3% of its overall goal utilizing race-neutral measures and 14% of its overall goal utilizing race conscious measures. Information pertaining to this goal and a description of how it was selected is available for inspection from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. (Eastern Time) for 30 days following the date of this notice. Written comments on this goal will be accepted for 45 days from the date of this notice.
