LYNX to Accept Applications for 11th Annual
Beginning Feb. 15, the Central Florida Regional Transportation Authority (LYNX) is inviting qualified non-profit organizations in Orange, Osceola and Seminole counties to register for a spot on the agency’s coveted Public Service Bus.
Eight winners will be chosen in a random drawing to have their logo displayed for one year on the 11th annual Public Service Bus which travels routes every day throughout the three-county area.
To be eligible, the non-profit organization must be based in Orange, Osceola or Seminole County; operate on a budget of less than $1 million and show proof of 501 (c)(3) status or be a governmental agency with a budget of less than $1 million.
Qualified agencies are required to:
- Fill out registration form online (www.golynx.com) with all fields completed.
- Attach copy of 501(c)(3) status or government agency designation. (Example: IRS form.)
- Attach copy of annual budget of less than $1 million. (Example: annual budget document.)
- Attach electronic file of organization logo in Adobe Illustrator (.ai) format.
The deadline to enter is 5 p.m. March 30. Incomplete entries will not be accepted. Winners will be notified after the random drawing on April 2.
Winners from the 2011-12 Public Service Bus are not eligible.
The official unveiling of the 2012-13 Public Service Bus will be held during National Volunteer Week April 15-21.
