LYNX to Accept Applications for 12th Annual Public Service Bus Contest

Beginning Feb. 18, the Central Florida Regional Transportation Authority (LYNX) is inviting qualified non-profit organizations in Orange, Osceola and Seminole counties to register for a spot on the agency’s coveted Public Service Bus.
Eight winners will be chosen in a random drawing to have their logo displayed for one year on the 12th annual Public Service Bus which travels routes every day throughout the three-county area.
To be eligible, the non-profit organization must be based in Orange, Osceola or Seminole County; operate on a budget of less than $1 million and show proof of 501(c)(3) status or be a governmental agency.
Qualified agencies are required to:
- Fill out registration form online (www.golynx.com) with all fields completed.
- Attach copy of 501(c)(3) status or government agency designation. (Example: IRS form.)
- Attach copy of annual budget of less than $1 million. (Example: annual budget document.)
- Attach electronic file of organization logo in Adobe Illustrator (.ai) format.
The deadline to enter is 5 p.m. March 29. Incomplete entries will not be accepted. Winners will be notified after the random drawing during the week of April 1.
Agencies on the 2012-13 Public Service Bus are not eligible until next year.
The official unveiling of the 2013-14 Public Service Bus will be held April 16 at the Amway Center.
