LYNX Wins State Maintenance and Operator Roadeo

It was a second consecutive championship year for LYNX maintenance team at the State Roadeo.

Now LYNX Maintenance Team members Chris Balroop, Harry Mootoo and Radu Solomon are preparing to compete at the American Public Transportation Association's International Bus Roadeo on May 3 in Fort Worth, Texas.

By combining the maintenance score with operator Moises Reina's fourth place finish this is the eighth Grand Champion award for LYNX.

ACCESS LYNX operator DeAndre Moore won Rookie of the Year and placed second in the paratransit van division.

Operators and Maintenance teams were put through physical and mental challenges testing their everyday workplace skills. The training exercise sponsored by the Florida Department of Transportation and the Florida Public Transportation Association was held at the Pinellas Suncoast Transit Authority in St. Petersburg, Fla.
