LYNX Orlando Trail
LYNX and the City of Orlando were awarded a $1.6M grant to provide a pedestrian connection between LYNX Central Station and the Church Street Sun Rail station. The goal of the project is to enhance pedestrian connections to transit to foster the use of transit and economic development along the corridor.
The LYNX Orlando Trail will be a continuation of the City's existing Gertrude's Walk and Orlando Urban Trail which is planned to extend south of SR 408 and north to Loch Haven Park. The project should be completed in late 2012.
