Bus Shelter Program

As a bus stop amenity to keep passengers out of the Central Florida weather we annually install 40 to 60 shelters. The American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 (ARRA) provided LYNX with federal funds to install 430 new shelters by the end of 2011. Currently LYNX has 626 shelters at our 4,441 stops.
